Kwik Fix franchisees have won the coveted Franchisee of the Year for 2003-2004 in Western Australia and Queensland respectively.
WA Franchisee Robert Kelly, a former metallurgical engineer, won Franchisee of the Year in the service category of the FCA's Western Australia awards.Robert, a lively Scot with a keen sense of humour, has operated his Kwik Fix franchise in the Perth suburbs surrounding Wanneroo for the last four years.
He has twice won Kwik Fix's own Franchisee of the Year Award and is the current chairman of Kwik Fix's Franchise Advisory Council.He operates his business as a sole trader, but receives plenty of moral support from his wife Gillian. |

Meanwhile Queensland franchisees John and Chiquita Espig, Kwik Fix's very first franchisees, won the service category in the Queensland FCA Awards.
The couple operate their business as a partnership, with both playing equal roles. They became Kwik Fix's first franchisees in 1995, and now operate two areas plus a second van with a full-time employee.
Prior to joining Kwik Fix, John owned a smash repair business, but believes that the service from Kwik Fix is much greater than anything available through a panel shop. The Brisbane CBD franchisee specialises in repairing paint and plastic damage to new and used prestige cars, including Mercedes Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Ferrari etc.

Both franchisees were saluted at special awards ceremonies in each state, and featured in the official Franchise Council's awards handbook.
